Unomedical Sdn Bhd, formerly known as Euromedical Industries Sdn Bhd was established in 1973 by Euromedical Industries Ltd (UK), with local partners.

Hoechst ( Germany ) purchased shares of Euromedical Ind. Ltd. in 1976, and shares of local plantation partner in 1978.

American Hospital Supply (merged with Baxter Travenol later same year) acquired Hoechst's 75% share holding in 1985. Handed over to Allegiance in 1996.

Maersk Medical A/S ( Denmark ) acquired 75% share holding in 1998 from Allegiance.

Maersk Medical A/S was divested by A.P. Moller in 2003. Nordic Capital acquired in 2003 and changed name to Unomedical A/S in March 2003.

Consequently, Euromedical Industries Sdn Bhd changed its name to Unomedical Sdn Bhd effective from October 2003.
